Sandbach 57 - Winnington Park 12 Sun 11 November 2012 Our first cup game of the season saw us take on a Winnington Park. The Sandbach pack dominated the early exchanges been superbly led by Pembo who ran in 4 tries during the game. The rest of the pack followed Pembo’s lead and they carried the ball to great effect, which in turn created space a plenty which the backs used to great effect. The support play was very good throughout the whole game, with players looking to off load at every opportunity. Winnington Park never gave up and they showed great team spirit and fully deserved their two second half tries.
