Senior Colts

West Park 18 - Sandbach 15 Sun 25 March 2001 Sandbach Senior Colts were unfortunate to lose this Lancashire & Cheshire Colts League match against West Park on Sunday last. Neither side dominated but Sandbach managed a first half lead at 10-8 with a penalty and converted try (all from Matt Stanway) and then stretched ahead early in the second half with an unconverted try from Matt Reynolds who had returned from Newcastle especially for the match. However West Park then came back strongly with first a converted try and subsequently a penalty to edge out their visitors in the dying minutes by 18 points to 15. Rick Stockdale
