Oswestry 2 19 - Sandbach 33 Sat 29 September 2012 Sandbach travelled to Oswestry with a bare fifteen for what proved to be a tough game of rugby. Oswestry defied their position in the league and contributed to a hard but fair afternoon. Sandbach were in control til mid way through the second half but had to go down to 14 players after an injury to our fullback. At that stage Sandbach were undere the cosh and Oswestry pulled the score back to 19 a piece. At this stage, Sandbach would have settled for the draw but young Elliott Morris had other ideas and scored two late tries to secure the game for Sandbach. Unfortunately this was another 2 pointer rather than the usual four as Sandbach again travelled without a full front row.
