Senior Colts

Manchester 31 - Sandbach 23 Sun 10 September 2000 A close match saw Sandbach's senior Colts side defeated by a strong Manchester team. As with one or two of the senior sides the Colts were very slow in starting with Mathew Stanway only scoring two penalty goals in the first half to leave Sandbach trailing 21-6. The second half was a different matter as Sandbach put up a brave effort with trys from Mathew Reynolds, Jamie Anderson and Matthew Stanway. Matt increased his points tally to 13 by converting one of the trys.
