Sandbach 0 - Lymm 50 Sun 5 November 2000 Guy Fawkes has a lot to answer for ! The excitement / tiredness caused by fireworks and bonfires is all I can imagine to have brought about the display this morning. Sandbach didn't really get going at all in any department. Having said all this, Lymm were very together, lots of support for the ball carrier, and a battering ram, who accidentally played with the under 9's last season !, eventhough he was under age. Lymm deserved the win, but Sandbach gave them a bigger score than perhaps we will later in the season.
